I’m Alex. I was born in the Cotswolds, in a small farming community surrounded by history and nature.

From a very early age I’ve been absolutely fascinated by the world around me, and passionate about preserving our rich natural and historical heritage. I firmly believe that the two go hand-in-hand in many regards, particularly in the context of our rural landscapes.

My intention with this page is to share my research, discoveries and adventures; not only to satisfy my own interest and further my own understanding, but hopefully to also inspire others to take an interest in their history and the world around them.
